Emma Breysse, LMHC

I am a licensed psychotherapist in Washington state working primarily with adults. I work from a client-centered and trauma-aware, relational approach to therapy. What this means is that we will start with you and your needs over any textbook or label, to examine your past and the forces that have shaped your life. As you undertake the work of therapy, you deserve to experience authenticity, safety and acceptance from me as your therapist – I will approach my relationship with you with that in mind always.

I hold a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Seattle University and a Bachelors degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Arizona State. Prior to being in private practice I served in community mental health field and had experience in providing advocacy to victims of domestic violence.

In addition to being a psychotherapist I enjoy reading, sewing, gardening, pinball and hiking.

I provide both in-person sessions and tele-health (when appropriate).

Pending: In network with Premera, Lifewise, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Regence, Kaiser (PPO), Heritage & The First Choice Network. For all other carriers I can provide a statement (superbill) of services for reimbursement.
